Re-branding & Creative Direction
Grand Arcade is a busy Shopping Centre in Wigan, UK. My brief was to brand the artwork for its launch whilst considering that the development team wanted to use the history of the town within the concept.
The site of the Shopping Centre was occupied by Wigan Casino from 1973-1981. During this time the nights would end with Dean Parrish’s hit ‘I’m on my way’.
As music is still such a central part of the town, I have used this as my strap line within my concept as a tribute to the past, present and future of the centre.
